Quit Crying!

NBA fans keep complaining about the present players wanting to team up for a chance to win a title. This is a complete farce. This has always been the way the NBA has done business. Sure, you remember when the NBA (50’s-60’s) was pure and worthy to be called basketball. Well, they had star studded teams as well, Boston and Philly, kept HOF talent. Philly, LA, Portland, Washington and Milwaukee all won with HOF’s. Okay, maybe your favorite era came during the show time period, when player’s heart and soul were in the game. Sorry, the best HOF’s won then as well. The Lakers, Pistons, Bulls and Celtics all had HOF power. The NBA was built on star power and yes, that’s what the fans want to see. The NBA is back better than ever having had its largest ever TV viewership last season. If anything, what the Lakers are doing now is as close to basketball purity as it will ever be. They have one HOF player and a bunch of role guys who have won back to back championships.
